Wanted: Sales & Administration Manager
Part Time - 24 hours a week (flexible/ negotiable)
Office Based (Ruthin LL15)
Salary - £20,000 plus bonuses
Purpose
We are looking for a proactive Sales & Administration Manager combining sales and administrative responsibilities to drive sales and support the Director in managing the day to day running of a small business. This role is primarily office based, involves securing new clients and handling administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of a small business.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales & Lead Generation (50% of Role):
• Generate new business primarily through B2B phone calls (target: 100 calls per week).
• Follow up on specification projects via Glenigans and Protel leads across the UK.
• Respond to incoming inquiries, providing product information and solutions.
• Prepare quotations with supporting documentation in line with company procedures.
• Follow up on sales inquiries via phone, email, and post.
• Secure new contracts through successful tenders.
• Project & Order Management:
• Calculate material volumes, raise purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch.
• Oversee project installations, ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Process invoices upon project completion.
• Business Operations & Compliance:
• Manage and maintain ISO 9001 quality procedures, ISO 45001 Health & Safety and HGV Operators Licence compliance, ensuring staff follow established protocols.
• Manage and update the company’s e-commerce website (pricing, product information, etc.).
• Provide administrative support to the Director, assisting in daily business operations.

• Skills & Experience:
• Proven ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prepare accurate documentation, including business letters, quotations, and marketing materials.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing client relationships and contracts.
• Experience in tendering would be beneficial.
• Technical & Computer Skills:
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Windows.
• Experience with Shopify and design software for marketing materials is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical product information.
• Strong numeracy skills, including profit/loss calculations and cost estimations.
• Management Abilities:
• Capable of overseeing administrative tasks related to business operations.
• Experience maintaining ISO and other accreditations.
