Band 2 Administrator - Vascular Surgery Department
We are looking for an Administrator to join the Vascular Surgery Department at Hull Royal Infirmary.
As an Administrator you will support the administration team to manage end to end clinical administrative processes associated to patient pathways, ensure a smooth and efficient service for the department in order to deliver a high quality administrative service for our patients.
The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to priorities competing workloads. You will be involved in the end to end patient pathways, providing administrative support to your line managers, administration team and the wider organisation.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Our Administrators play a vital role in the delivery of patient care via the management of patients end to end pathways and supporting the wider team. Our roles are varied and challenging and your day to day duties may include:
• Clinic letter transcription
• Call handling
• Making patient appointments
• Helping to track our patients through their journey, ensuring a great patient experience
• Management of referrals
With a starting salary of £23,615 per annum (pro rata), we offer excellent opportunities to progress within clinical administration.
Although previous administration experience would be helpful, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude. Candidates should possess the following skills:
