We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation, in North West!
This role involves managing and delivering Time & Materials (T&M) projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high customer service standards.
The Project Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing procurement, project design, commissioning, and customer handovers.
About the role:
1. Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
2. Implement and monitor safe systems of work on assigned T&M/projects.
3. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy.
4. Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
5. Take full ownership and responsibility for project delivery.
6. Conduct client training, demonstrations, and handovers.
7. Identify and address additional training needs.
8. Develop and oversee project management documents including H&S, CDM, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
9. Procure control items, approve control panel drawings, and size control valves.
10. Manage and coordinate subcontractors.
11. Attend site progress meetings as required.
12. Produce weekly project reports.
13. Design and review technical project submissions.
14. Supervise installation and commissioning activities.
15. Identify and evaluate project variations.
16. Produce operation & maintenance documentation and oversee handovers.
17. Conduct end-of-project technical reviews.
Skills and Experience

3. Technical expertise in multiple BMS/HVAC products.
4. Awareness of energy management and sustainability.
5. Excellent attention to detail.

9. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and in-house Service Management & Financial systems.
