What You'll Do:
* Provide tailored support to students with ASD and complex needs, both in and out of the classroom, under the guidance of teaching staff and SENCO.
* Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies to promote positive learning outcomes and social-emotional development.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver personalized interventions and adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff to inform future planning and support strategies.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with students with ASD and complex needs, either in a school setting or a similar environment.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) or extensive experience in a relevant field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of students with ASD and complex needs.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
