Europe Personal Care is a vital Business Unit (BU) within the Global Personal Care Business Group, with an annual turnover of c€1.8bn and comprising 6 strategic markets (UK, Germany, France, Benelux, Italy & Poland) and 3 Personal Care Categories (Deodorants, Skin Cleansing and Oral Care). Working with some of Unilever’s biggest and most iconic brands such as Dove, Axe, Signal & Rexona, the Europe Personal Care BU is a key cell for market share, growth and profitability in a highly competitive landscape. The PC Europe BU has a clear focus on driving sustainable profitable growth through powerful brands & innovation and an agile mindset towards managing channel dynamics. The Europe Personal Care BU Finance team is a multi-disciplined group of professionals covering Finance Business Partnering, Supply Chain Finance, and Performance Management, with a high performance and dynamic mindset, and fostering pan European relationships to drive both professional and personal development. The Europe PC & BW Performance Management team is closely integrated with the UKI National Finance community and works closely with both the European markets and the rest of the cross functional team to deliver outstanding business information, control, and analytics to drive insightful business performance. Working within the Europe PC & BW Performance Management provides individuals with the opportunity to experience a fast-paced market environment, and to get directly involved in steering front line business performance. The appointment of a strong Overhead Controller is essential to delivering the P rofit and C ash ambitions of both Business Units through ensuring the delivery of our Overhead framework. To do this they will utilise robust performance management, their ability to partner a wide variety of European stakeholders, intercompany benchmarking, ZBB and Fuel for Growth programme tracking. This is a high exposure role, a true opportunity to cement a reputation as a high performing individual. JOB PURPOSE The Overhead Controller will be required to take ownership of deliver ing the business results for Overheads. In addition, they will assume responsibility for the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Proactive b usiness p artnering of the BU organisation & budget owners to provide insight and analysis on their Overheads. Partnering with the national finance teams to maintain a strong grip over forecast and actu als. Provide ad hoc analysis of spend to support strategic decision making. Providing ad hoc support to other areas of FP&A where it will deliver significant value. Opportunity identification and execution, working closely with the Above Market FET, Business Unit finance and the Data & Analytics Hub.
