An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to work for a large Membership Organisation based in Central London. The postholder will be working in a busy finance team and predominately supporting the purchase ledger function.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Manage supplier invoicing and payments
* Match, batch and code a high volume of supplier invoices
* Process payment runs for suppliers
* Oversee sales invoicing and cash allocations
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Assist with monthly reconciliations of control and balance sheets
* Post monthly journals and manage banking cheques
* Maintain petty cash and issue customer refunds
* Reconcile purchase and sales ledgers
* Handle supplier queries and send out statements
* Participate in ad-hoc financial projects
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* At least 3 years experience in a busy finance role
* Working towards AAT, CIMA, CIPFA, or ACCA qualification
* Strong system skills including intermediate Excel skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
