Job Description
Junior Account Executive, Slough: My client is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Account Manager. This role is an excellent opportunity for al professional looking to develop a career in account management. You will deal with all areas of sales administration as well as be actively involved in client meetings (on-site).
3. Assisting National Account Manager with all areas of account management. These could be large national accounts including largest names in Retail, Hotels & Hospitality, Gyms, Office Space down to very small businesses from various sectors.
4. Doing research and preparing presentations
5. Support pitches
6. Regularly getting out and meeting customers by yourself and with the NAM
7. Solve problems, answer queries, look for up-sell/new revenue opportunities.
8. Analysis of wider market, current accounts (including market share, profit, growth, retention, etc)
9. All areas of B2B Customer Service
10. Helping Sales process orders
11. Sending samples out to customers
12. Monitor expiring contracts and work with sales to get the extended/resigned
13. All areas of sales administration
The Successful Applicant
14. Ideally you will drive and be able to visit clients with an Account Manager and also independently/solo.
15. Ideally from a retail or hospitality background - If not you need evidence of being totally customer centric. In this sector customer is king and you need to ensure their experience is excellent.
16. You will be good with customers, excellent on the phone, able to communicate smoothly and articulately over email and confident and engaging face to face.
17. Ideally you will drive - This is Sales Support role where you will be client facing and this include regularly meeting in person.
18. You will be flexible with hours/workload. If a request comes in late Friday, maybe it needs some work over the weekend? Whilst this is not compulsory, I think it demonstrates the mindset and attitude you need if you are the right person for this job.
Please Note: This role is a great entry into a full sales role if you want. Over a couple of years doing this role you learn the products and the customers and way the business works and potentially then move into sales/account management position.
What's on Offer
Salary of circa £28,000 - £32,000 plus excellent package.
