About the team
The IMA Media team help clients connect their advertising to the target audience through paid media channels. We start by gathering audience insight in terms of who they are, what they look like, and what media they consume. Once we have that information we begin media planning using our bespoke planning process. We select media based on its ability to resonate with and deliver to the audience, always remaining relevant in terms of context and mindset.
Summary of the Senior Media Executive role
We are on the lookout for a Senior Media Executive to join our high performing media team. You will be responsible for assisting the Media Managers and Senior Media Managers in the day-to-day running of client business, helping to deliver effective planning and buying for our clients, and working across all media channels. You will need to have a basic understanding of how earned and owned align with paid media, be a self-starter and be eager to learn and develop within the team.
Some responsibilities of the Senior Media Executive role will include:
* Formulate media solutions/plans, according to client needs/objectives
* Researching, planning and buying media, across all media channels (with a digital focus)
* Assisting in the construction of pitch documents and client proposals
* Developing relationships with suppliers and becoming competent with negotiating rates, timings & positioning on behalf of clients
* Meeting with media owners to learn about their offering and keep up to date with new industry developments
* Keeping clients & the wider team abreast of new media developments and opportunities
