Integration Architect Location: London, Manchester Salary: up to £100k (DoE) Are you an innovative, experienced Integration Architect looking to take the next step in your career? A leading, global consultancy firm are seeking a solutions-driven, skilled professional to design, implement and optimise end-to-end integration solutions for diverse clients. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless communication across systems, applications and platforms, leveraging industry-leading integration tools and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Architect Integration Solutions: Develop and optimise end-to-end integration solutions, that facilitate seamless data exchange and process coordination across systems, applications and platforms. Middleware & Integration Platforms: Evaluate and deploy integration platforms e.g. MuleSoft, which will enable seamless communication between on-premise and cloud-based systems. API Design & Management: Develop and manage APIs and microservices architectures for scalable, secure integration systems. System Interoperability: Ensure seamless communication between systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, messaging queues and Enterprise Services Buses (ESB). Data Integration & Transformation: Maintain data consistency and accuracy across systems by leveraging data mapping, transformation and synchronisation techniques. Integration Strategy & Governance: Define strategy, standards and best practices for clients to ensure scalable, secure and cost-effective business requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside development teams and business leaders to document requirements that meet integration needs and deliver solutions. Security & Compliance: Ensure best practises are implemented and upheld in all integration solutions, and comply with GDPR, HIPAA and other industry standards. Documentation & Training: Document workflows and processes to provide training and guidance as-needed to development teams and end-users. About You: 5 years experience in integration or software architecture, focusing on enterprise systems integration. Practical experience with integration platforms e.g. MuleSoft, Dell Boomi etc Strong skills in API design and management, focusing on REST, SOAP, GraphQL and related technologies. Background in middleware technologies, ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) architectures, and message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ. Familiarity with microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures, as well as data formats (XML, JSON, EDIFACT) and ETL processes. Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud integration strategies. Robust problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, fantastic communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work strongly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
