We are currently recruiting on behalf on our client, a leading global law firm.
They are seeking to hire a Career Transition Manager on a permanent basis in their London office, to execute all aspects of the Career Transition Programme and the succession planning activities for their partners. The Career Transition Manager will focus on ensuring clarity in regard to succession plans for partners and client alike, as well as ensuring that partners understand the early retirement option and assist with the transition period.
This is a newly created role for the firm, offering high interaction and visibility and therefore, a great opportunity to truly make an impact.
The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying eligible partners on an annual basis, and lead on all communications with the partners on the programme.
Responsibilities will include:
* Cultivating strong working relationships with leaders, partners and legal teams to provide transition support.
* Drafting all retirement agreements.
* Working closely with the Office of General Counsel to review the programme bi-annually.
* Coordinating with partner resources colleagues.
* Supporting partners with any enquiries in regard to timing, financial implications, wellbeing and handovers.
* Leading on succession planning meetings and coaching conversations.
* Working closely with global benefits teams to support retiree benefits programmes, policies and relevant administration.
* Analysing data and producing reports for Committees and firm leadership.
Suitable applicants will have amassed senior level experience within a similar role, within a law firm, or professional services environment. In order to be considered for this position, you will display prior management experience, sound understanding of a partnership environment and succession planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence for the good of the business.
