An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Assistant (Toddlers room) to join a nursery committed to providing a nurturing environment for children. This is a full-time role offering excellent benefits and a salary of £24,400 for a 41-hour work week.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities, ensuring the individual needs of the children are met in a safe, stimulating environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Create a safe and engaging environment for children, both indoors and outdoors.
2. Assess children's progress and development, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
3. Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children in line with company policies and procedures.
4. Incorporate British Values in learning activities and play.
5. Support children's emotional and behavioural development, encouraging positive self-regulation.
6. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain an inclusive approach.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as a Nursery Assistant, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Unqualified Nursery Assistant, Childcare Practitioner or in a similar role.
2. Ideally have experience working as a key worker.
3. Knowledge of the safeguarding and Early Years Foundation Stage.
