We are currently recruiting for an Own Brand Category Assistant!
The objective of the Own Brand Category Assistant is to support with the brand management and all arms of product developed under the Space NK Brand. This includes multi-brand sets such as our Advent Calendar and our beauty edit program, as well as our Hand & Body, Accessories, and Holiday Gifting assortments. The role reports into the Buyer for the category.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
1. Ownership of the Own Brand Pipeline and Process Management
1. End to end ownership of the product set-up process & critical path for all own brand launches.
2. Ensure all products are set up correctly using the tools that the business has employed – including Navision and Salesforce.
3. Keep all internal trackers up to date with any pipeline / NPD updates and work with Suppliers to obtain all the relevant information for set up.
4. Liaise with key external stakeholders to ensure key sign off dates and feedback any sign off notes to the supplier.
5. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to manage samples and be the main point of contact for any ad hoc queries.
6. Support with any internal stock requests e.g. events, PR or GWPs and liaise with the DC to action.
2. Support on Multi-Brand Box and Advent Programmes
1. Manage the launch critical path and escalate any issues when necessary to key stakeholders.
2. Work with Merchandising, Warehouse and any third-party suppliers to manage stock deliveries that are on track from brands.
3. Organise samples for the Assistant Buyer and liaise with the studio team to ensure product samples are handed over in line with critical path dates.
3. Competitor Analysis
1. Review competitor pricing, assortment, promotional activities and trending products.
A strong candidate for the Buying Assistant role would have the following attributes, skills, and experience:
1. Organization skills to manage and deliver multiple tasks
2. Adherence to timelines
3. Diligence and accuracy in delivery
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills to support interactions with internal and external stakeholders
5. Proactive, entrepreneurial, self-starter who can identify opportunities and think end-to-end
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
7. Passion for the beauty industry, brands, and product development.
