Senior Social Worker - Adult Services (West Wakefield)
Up to £35 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join Wakefield Metropolitan Borough Council's Connecting Care Team West, working full time. We are seeking a passionate individual to contribute to the well-being of adults aged 18 and over within the West of the Wakefield district who present with a variety of needs.

About the Role:
As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
* Work confidently and increasingly autonomously with a wide variety and complexity of cases.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective support plans using a strengths-based approach.
* Safeguard vulnerable adults and ensure their rights are protected.
* Collaborate effectively with partner agencies and community resources.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other professionals.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the team and service.

Essential Requirements:
* A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma).
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant post-qualification experience in adult social care.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
