Our fantastic tech client on the outskirts of Cardiff are looking to recruit a Repair Manager to join them on a permanent basis.\n\nWe are seeking an experienced manager, ideally from a Technology Repair background, to lead a growing and diverse team and oversee the daily operations of the repair centre, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to customers.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nTeam Management - Lead, motivate and manage a team of technical repair engineers and technicians in the repair centre, providing training, support and development.\nOperations Management - Oversee the repair process from tech intake to completion and deployment; ensuring timely and accurate repairs, implementing and monitoring workflows to optimise efficiency.\nCustomer Service - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing enquiries, resolving complaints and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.\nInventory Management - Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering parts, and supplies, and ensuring accurate record keeping and inventory control.\nQuality Control - Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure repairs meet all standards, conducting regular quality audits and inspections.\nSafety Compliance - Ensure the repair centre complies with all safety regs and standards; conducting regular safety training with the team.\nReporting - Prepare and present regular reports on repair centre performance to highlight key metrics for the SLT.What we're looking for:\n\nProven managerial experience within a repair centre, workshop or IT engineering setting.\nStrong leadership and team development skills.\nExcellent organisational skills with the ability to problem solve.\nStrong customer service and communication skills.\nKnowledge and understanding of repair centre processes and inventory management.\nStrong familiarity of QSHE principles and standards.\nExperience with inventory management software.Salary & Benefits:\n\nSalary will be 40k plus excellent benefits.\nHours: Monday to Friday; 9am-5:30pm (37.5 hours) - some overtime will be required.\nCompany Pension scheme.\nPrivate Healthcare\n23 days holiday plus bank.\nFree on-site parking.\nLife cover (4 x basic salary).\nGroup income protection.\nFriendly, outgoing, and supportive team.\nExcellent reward & recognition scheme.\nDiscounted gym membership
