Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Senior Payroll Associate to process our internal payroll across three jurisdictions, UK, IOM & ROI. You will be required to calculate wages based on hours worked and administer payments to over 1800 staff.
Recruiting for a senior payroll associate who is able to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. To be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. Also have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives.
The goal is to ensure our colleagues receives the correct compensation in a timely manner.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist other team members with queries and decision making.
* Check hours worked is calculating correctly for each employee
* Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, sickness etc. with assistance of an integrated software system i-trent
* Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
* Upload payslips through an electronic system and respond to queries regarding same
* Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
* Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
* Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
* Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
* Review pension uploads and handle queries regarding same
* Benefits in Kind handling
* Payroll team will report to Senior Payroll Associate if Payroll Manager is on leave.
Requirements of the Role:
* Solid understanding of payroll, HMRC, Auto-enrolment Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
* Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases
* Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality Outstanding organisational ability with great attention to detail Excellent communication skills Understanding of P11d processing, data and rules
* ROI Payroll knowledge desirable
* Confident in decision making
* Guiding, mentoring and leading other team members when necessary
Essential Criteria:
* CIPP qualified or have at least 3 years payroll experience
* Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
* Solid understanding of payroll, HMRC, Auto-enrolment
* Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases
* End to end payroll processing
* Prioritising tasks as per payroll schedule
