IT Support Engineer needed to support this national blue-chip organisation based at their Chester office. Youll be delivering top-tier IT support to colleagues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a high-quality user experience. What Youll Be Doing Resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues, escalating when needed Deploying and supporting desktops, laptops, and servers running Windows 10 Enterprise Managing user accounts, access permissions, and troubleshooting printing or device issues Monitoring and managing network storage and local infrastructure Supporting application installations, upgrades, and addressing network-related issues Applying security updates, patches, and ensuring adherence to internal IT security protocols Handling IT onboarding and offboarding for new starters and leavers Providing user training and guidance to encourage effective use of IT tools What Youll Bring Proven experience supporting Windows 10 Enterprise environments Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with virtualisation (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Confident troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks Experience with wireless networking and AV/conferencing equipment Comfortable using centralised ticketing/helpdesk systems and working to SLAs Good understanding of IT security practices and endpoint management Who You Are Personable, customer-focused, and a clear communicator Calm, adaptable, and quick to respond to changing demands Self-motivated with a desire to learn and continuously improve Team-oriented, professional, and proactive in approach Why Join?
