The role: This is a key role within the Product Development team with responsibilities to include: Managing the workload of NPD briefs being formulated Analysing the success and conversion-to-purchase rate of NPD briefs being formulated Responding to customers’ NPD briefs and create CCL’s own formulations ensuring they’re nutritionally and legally compliant for the intended territory of sale Providing support and nutritional advice to the Sales team/customers in a timely manner Communicating regularly with the Sales team on the status of their NPD projects in accordance with SLAs set by the Product Development Manager Collaborating with the NPD, Innovation and Marketing teams to assess market trends and present new ideas for formulation development or ingredients for potential launches Ensuring all amendments made to NPD formulations are captured on the system when required Liaising with the Compliance team to ensure Product Specs (FPSs) are created and/or amended when changes to formulations are made Updating the NPD Product Catalogue with new and amended formulations on a weekly basis Supporting the Sales team with customer NPD/Innovation meetings when required Attending and contributing to team meetings when required Attending virtual and physical tradeshows to represent the function of the NPD/Innovation team for the Company when required This is a permanent position with hybrid working in the office and from home with at least 2 days in the office per week. Hours will be 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday) from 09:00am to 17:30pm. The requirements: We are looking for someone who has a passion for ingredients, nutrition, health and wellbeing. You will ideally have a background in sports nutrition/exercise science, health and wellbeing and a nutritional qualification would be advantageous.
