Medlock Partners is a highly regarded law firm based in Manchester, seeking a talented Corporate Solicitor to join their thriving Corporate team.
The firm's Corporate Department is a leading advisor to owner-managed businesses across various sectors, including tech, healthcare, financial services, and sports. The department provides trusted advice throughout clients' growth journeys, handling a wide range of transactions, such as M&A, private equity investments, employee ownership trusts, and more. You'll work on business reorganisations, shareholder agreements, and supporting founders through business exits, like trade sales or management buyouts.
Job Responsibilities
* You will work collaboratively with the team on diverse corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity deals.
* You will assist with day-to-day business operations, such as shareholder agreements and group reorganisations.
* You will provide support to businesses seeking external investment and founders preparing for their exit strategies.
* You will collaborate with other departments within the firm and external advisers, such as corporate finance teams and accountants.
Requirements
* A minimum of 1 year PQE, ideally 2-3 years, with demonstrable experience in transactional corporate law and M&A.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with excellent client care.
* A collaborative team player who is eager to develop business development (BD) skills.
* An interest in networking and promoting the firm to clients and contacts.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
