About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join No7 Beauty Company as Global Head of eCommerce. In this highly sought after role, you will be responsible for leading our global DTC businesses whilst overseeing all No7 Beauty Company e-Commerce sales. Reporting into the Global Digital Director, this role requires a strong commercial skillset mixed with the practical experience to develop and execute a world class e-Commerce strategy that will drive significant revenue growth to these channels.
As Global Head of eCommerce, you will lead the Global eCommerce team, leading and executing an e-Commerce strategy to achieve sustainable and profitable growth. You will be responsible for your own P&L and will report on this monthly to key stakeholders, ensuring all KPIs are set and met.
You will work extremely closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Manager, who is responsible for driving quality traffic to site. From there, it’s up to you to create the very best customer experience, informed by data and utilising resources at your disposal to execute your onsite shopping, conversion and retention strategies.
Your KPIs will be simple - conversion and AOV for new and repeat customers, and you will use marketing tools and technology at your disposal to optimise continuously for this. You’ll build out your own CRO funnel and tactics, identifying potential friction points for the customer (and potential customer) and solving for them in the most efficient way, taking a data-led and evidence-based approach.
As a Global Head of eCommerce, you will also oversee and support the online sales in our owned and 3rd party retailers providing guidance and consultation for best practice digital shelf execution. We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital and can continuously inspire change and adoption of technology to drive performance. Championing all things digital across the organisation.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and execute the strategic planning and implementation of all E-commerce activities, managing our e-Commerce platforms, developing and implementing strategies and KPIs that improve customer experience, website performance, conversion rates and profitable growth
2. Utilise data and analytics to gain customer insights, update internal stakeholders on business performance updates, deliver performance improvements, achieve KPIs and inform future strategy
3. Ensure warehouse forecasting and operational forecasting is accurate and working in cooperation with internal functions to ensure availability, visibility and distribution of products in line with forecast
4. Collaborate with Global Technical team to implement market-leading technology solutions and develop a long-term feature roadmap to improve e-commerce performance and the Digital Marketing team to lead and improve new customer acquisition, create, and execute promotions, and other initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement
5. Leading a team of e-Commerce and CRO specialists, you will provide effective training, coaching, and mentorship to empower team members, understanding their motivations to create the conditions for them to succeed in their execution. This role requires effective management of multiple internal and external stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
6. Advocate for a digital-first approach across all areas of the business, fostering a culture of innovation and adaption to digital advancements, collaborating across multiple hybrid functions to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and to optimise online customer experiences
7. Support the retailer account teams to develop commercial JBPs and plans together with retailers that achieve No7 e-Commerce growth goals
About you (the candidate and their experience)
8. 5+ years’ experience in e-Commerce at either a digital agency or client-side
9. Understand commercial and digital media environment on both a local market and global level
10. Be a proactive, innovative self-starter with exceptional presentation skills to senior stakeholders
11. Enjoy educating others about optimizing campaigns to drive e-Commerce efforts
12. Have a clear vision for the future and relate this into defining product and operational structures
13. Have an adaptive style in being able to communicate often technical ideas in simple terms
