We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and innovative Science Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team. Whilst a Biology specialism is preferred, our priority is seeking to appoint a great teacher who is an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love of science in our students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons that inspire curiosity and a passion for learning.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support the diverse needs of students, ensuring every learner is challenged and empowered to succeed.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback that drives improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to teach across the science disciplines at least to KS3.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, engaging science lessons.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.
Desirable Qualities:
• A genuine passion for science and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
• Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.
