We are seeking to recruit a full-time Facilities Assistant (cleaner) to join our team at The Hellingly Centre, The Drive, Hellingly, East Sussex, BN27 4ER.
This is a full-time position totalling hours per week, 07:00 to 14:30 each weekday, Monday to Friday mornings.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service.
We need people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety as well as the importance of adherence to infection prevention and control standards at all times.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Job responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Vacuum cleaning
2. Damp mopping of floors
3. Damp dusting of furniture/fittings
4. Cleaning of mirrors and internal glass
5. Sanitary ware, baths, showers, sinks, toilets
6. Washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork
7. High dusting of walls and ceilings
8. Floor cleaning
9. Food handling to support the provision of a meal service for patients (training will be provided for the successful candidate)
