The Role: What you’ll be doing: You'll tutor up to six children aged 4–16 in one of our vibrant centres, using our innovative Compass learning tool. As a tutor, you’ll: Teach: You will tailor your teaching approach to each child's unique needs, ensuring they achieve consistent progress through delivery of the national curriculum and entrance exam preparation. You'll be the guiding force that helps the children achieve real progress and unlock the joy of learning. Inspire: As a tutor, you will inspire all children to become fearless learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will encourage them to embrace learning with confidence and curiosity. You'll inspire your members and their families, ensuring they get the most out of our service. Nurture: Building strong relationships is at the heart of what we do. You’ll create a learning environment where each child feels safe and valued, with member well-being and safeguarding at the forefront of all your interactions. For this tutor role, we are looking for a tutor who can step into additional key responsibilities supporting the centre when the manager is away. These include: Acting as a main contact for parents, confidently answering any queries, solving problems and ensuring smooth centre operations. Leading and inspiring peers as a role model for excellence in tutoring. Safeguarding members and staff and handling keyholder duties like opening and closing the centre. What’s in it for you? Logistics: Logistics & Pay Part-time, permanent role with 6-hour weekly minimum (Wednesday–Saturday availability required). Base pay: 18–20: £8.80/hr | 21: £11.60/hr Additional £2/hr when covering manager responsibilities (50p/hr for centres within the M25). Paid induction and training included. Requirements: Grade 6 in GCSE Maths & English (predicted grades accepted if pending). 18 with the right to work in the UK. Able to commit long-term and travel to your chosen centre. All successful applicants will undertake employment reference checks, and a Disclosure & Barring Service check or PVG check. Please note, this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
