Your new role
The Global Cloud & Data Centre Lead directs the design, engineering, and development of globally optimised IT Infrastructure cloud platforms. The candidate owns cloud hosting environments, including data centre strategies ensuring their implementations address business strategies and priorities across various business functions. The candidate is also responsible for ensuring the cloud strategy is integrated with Eisai’s strategic principles and internal standards.
In addition, the candidate provides direction input for technology selection, system integration and governance across cloud enterprise platforms and on-premises computing platforms - in compliance with applicable global, regional, and local regulations and in accordance with Eisai standards.
The candidate will lead the enterprise through the optimisation and migration to new cloud technologies, evaluating processing performance relating to cloud infrastructure utilisation, reliability, financial forecasting, and human resources needed to meet the established service level objectives.
What are we looking for?
1. Demonstrated experience IT Platform services domain experience is required including extensive working experience in Cloud & Data Center platforms.
2. Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect on cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/Google.
3. An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business management or a related field.
4. Advanced certification with one or more cloud providers. AWS Certified Architect Professional is a must have.
5. Effective leadership skills. These include team building, consensus building, the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and achieving goals through others not directly under the leader's supervision, by working ethically and with integrity.
6. Strong track record of effective cross-functional team collaboration and execution
7. Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
8. Deep experience in planning and consolidating regional infrastructure operations into a global approach.
9. Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and enterprise architecture and ITIL frameworks.
10. Experience in managing application / system changes in accordance with computer system validation, 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP policies.
