Southwark Borough Council are looking for a Project Manager to join their team!
Are you a Project Manager, passionate about making a meaningful difference and improving the lives of Southwark's vulnerable adults who have complex support needs. As a Project Manager to our Supported Hostel Transformation project, you will be at the forefront of leading on the delivery of an insourcing project. The role will entail the negotiation of leases and management agreements, the procurement of a concierge service and the establishment of performance and service standards. You will be reporting progress to a joint strategic directors' group for Housing and Adult Social Care Key responsibilities will include:
* Working with Key stakeholders to on the negotiation and conclusion of management agreements/ leases for 3 supported hostels, ensuring successful implementation and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
* The procurement of an out of hours concierge service
* Conducting research and data analysis to inform evidence-based decision-making.
* Developing strategic policies, procedures, and service specifications to drive sustainable improvements to the service
* Collaborating with practitioners, senior leaders, and external partners to shape and embed positive change.
* Regular reporting on project progress to Directors at our Housing and ASC joint Strategic Oversight Board This is a strategic, high-impact role at the centre of Southwark's ambitious transformation agenda About You To excel in this role, you will be a self-starter with strong analytical, project management, and policy development skills. You will have a keen eye for data-driven decision-making, a strategic mindset, and the ability to navigate complex service landscapes. We are looking for someone with:
* Proven experience in project and change management, ideally within public sector and with a knowledge of Supported Accommodation
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, confident in engaging with senior leaders and multi-agency partners.
* The ability to work independently, think creatively, and drive continuous improvement.
* A strong understanding of policy, legislation, and regulatory frameworks
