Electrical Engineer – Direct Air Capture Technology

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expertise on electrical engineering interfaces, regulatory compliance, and grid connection requirements for DAC projects.
* Evaluate and select key electrical components to ensure optimal performance, working closely with suppliers to understand specifications.
* Act as the primary electrical engineering expert within project teams, offering technical guidance and innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and process engineers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the DAC process.
* Design and optimize electrical distribution systems at low and medium voltage levels.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering within industrial-scale carbon capture applications.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
* BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in electrical systems design, ideally within industrial processes, energy systems, maritime, or power industries.
* Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems at low and medium voltage; experience in designing such systems is highly desirable.
* Passion for clean energy technologies and a strong desire to contribute to the energy transition.
* Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.
