Salary: Up to £32,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract / Attachment
Location: Office Base is Mailbox, Birmingham. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

Main Responsibilities
Be part of our forward-thinking HR Services team, delivering exceptional query resolution and support to employees. This role ensures smooth service delivery by adhering to established processes and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Main responsibilities include:
• Provide timely and accurate responses to employee requests, ensuring alignment with policies and SLAs.
• Investigate and resolve queries or issues escalating them to appropriate teams or third parties when required
• Gain a deep understanding of employee concerns by asking insightful questions analysing data and exploring root causes
• Confidently use people systems to input and maintain high quality data while safeguarding confidentiality
• Deliver data analysis and actionable recommendations to address queries effectively
• maintain personal records with precision and discretion
• Provide clear and well informed answers based on data policies and process expertise
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to project support when needed
• Work across the shared service centre and HR organisation to foster teamwork and collaboration
• Actively promote a culture of service excellence embracing opportunities for continuous improvement

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, communication skills that can be adapted to a wide audience with different needs and be a good team player whilst independently managing their own workload.
Essential skills:
• Proficient in IT skills using a range of packages ideally an HR system
• Foundational knowledge of HR processes is essential with potential expertise in an HR specialism such as reward or recruitment
• Familiarity with relevant employment laws or the ability to access legal information when necessary Strong administrative skills and confidence in data usage and problem solving
• Adept to applying standard procedures and with the ability to resolve challenges effectively
• Skilled in handling resolving and escalated inquiries appropriately ensuring prompt communication
• Approach tasks with flexibility pragmatism and willingness to adapt within an operational environment
