Job summary The Occupational Therapy Service at Callington Road Hospital is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with significant experience of working with people with mental health problems. We are looking for someone who is innovative, versatile, forward-thinking and confident in assessments and interventions. The wards served by the team include PICU, Acute, Rehabilitation and Later Life, and the post holder will work with the Team Lead and other Band 6's to support and develop the service as a whole, so having the opportunity to develop leadership skills. We offer CPD opportunities including VdT MoCA, Sensory work, ACLSs, leadership skills, peer & professional supervision. Students regularly join us for practice placements and we have apprentice Occupational Therapists as part of the staff team. Callington Road Hospital is an inpatient facility for adults experiencing mental health problems and the Occupational Therapy team share office facilities with the other specialist therapies teams.
