The Friary School is part of the Primitas Learning Partnership, a popular and respected Lichfield secondary school catering for well over a thousand local students, and is among the most over-subscribed schools in South Staffordshire. The school was judged ‘good’ by OFSTED (November 2017) and performs strongly in the national Performance Tables. The OFSTED Report celebrated extensive changes to school practice and highlighted a “culture of high aspiration” alongside “abundant energy and enthusiasm,” noting that we are a “rapidly improving school” with an “unwavering commitment to helping all pupils achieve highly.” The school has implemented an action plan aimed at propelling it to the ‘outstanding’ benchmark and maintaining that standard, focusing on delivering an excellent education for the families of Lichfield and the surrounding area.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCo, providing support in the care of pupil(s) who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
