Job Overview: We are seeking a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Occupational Therapy Service. The role involves conducting specialist assessments and providing tailored advice and treatment to children with functional challenges in self-care, productivity, and leisure. You will work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to service development and delivering high-quality care in partnership with schools and families. Responsibilities: Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for children with functional challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families to develop and implement tailored care plans. Deliver therapy in accordance with service agreements for Sutton Health & Care Community Services. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Children's Occupational Therapy Service. Take accountability for clinical decisions and actions within your designated area of practice. Requirements: Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid HCPC registration. Experience in paediatrics, particularly with children facing functional difficulties. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with schools and families. Commitment to professional development and service improvement.
