Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAYYou will be joining a highly motivated team where you will be operating CNC Machines to produce various Turbine products. Following work instructions and meeting company standards.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT- You will contribute to the production team with your skill, experience, and knowledge of setting and operating CNC machines to a high standard.- Oversees machinery setup to make sure arrangement is safe and ready to handle it’s assigned load and loads material into machines.- Understanding engineering drawings and CMM readouts to enable you to carry out various operations.- Examines machinery production output to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process.- First principal gauging and CMM Measurement of components to ensure conformity by adjusting tool offsets, speed, the path of the cut, and other factors.- Maintains and updates records about the machine’s operation.- Regularly inspects machines for mechanical and safety issues.- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.WHAT YOU BRING- Must have an apprenticeship, level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.- Must have CNC Machining experience.- A knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, Okuma controls is desirable, but not essential.- Safety attitude, detail-orientated, problem-solving skills, mechanical talent.- Close attention to detail.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.- A proactive outlook to work and continuous improvement.- Pride in your work area, maintaining the cleanliness of the machine and its surrounding area.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
