Job Overview
We require a Sales Administrator for a busy Motorcycle Training School to join our dynamic team. The job requires good telephone skills to deal with incoming enquiries, an ability to take messages and check bookings. Reasonable IT skills and literacy are required to use an online diary system, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel (Office 365). This position suits an organised and conscientious individual that can self-motivate and excel in customer relations.
Responsibilities
1. Answer incoming phone calls, advising on motorcycle training courses.
2. Communicate effectively with customers to address enquiries, resolve basic issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Utilise software tools such as Word and Excel for data entry and document preparation.
4. Maintain an organised filing system for documents and correspondence.
5. Collaborate with other departments/instructors to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across the organisation.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a sales environment.
2. Excellent phone manner with proven sales skills.
3. Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Proficiency in office software including Word and Excel; experience with Teams is advantageous.
5. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
6. A customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building positive relationships.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Great attention to detail.
We are looking to develop this individual to be able to sell and book courses, and we will provide training for the right candidate. The timeframe for this development is three to six months.
Working Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off mid-week (and to occasionally cover staff holiday). One week will be Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Benefits: 30 days’ holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), a Workplace Pension, 3 days Sick Pay (after one year of service), and monthly pay through PAYE.
Lightning Motorcycle Training is a small, well-established company that has a good working atmosphere and relaxed environment. However, customer satisfaction is very important, and this job requires a good communicator.
