The postholder will work as part of the Corporate Governance Team, led by the Group Chief CorporateAffairsOfficer&Company Secretary (CCAO) to provide high quality support, facilitate and maintain administrative arrangements and procedures for the sound corporategovernance of each Trust within the Group.
The postholder will support the Group Corporate Governance Team in the provision of company secretarial support and advice to the Trust. The purpose of the Group Corporate Governance Team isto advise and support the Chair, Board of Directors and Council of Governors on all aspects of regulation, corporate governanceand effective business conduct for the organisation.
Thepostholderwill be able totorespondeffectivelytovaryingdemandsinworkload, and to changes within the organisation at the end of their apprenticeship. As such, they would be expected to learn to adapt quickly when priorities change, to keep track of own work and that of others to ensure it runs to schedule, to support the objectives of the Corporate Governance Team. In achieving this, the post holder would need to demonstrate initiative, a commitment to routine tasks, good time management skills, effective planning for committee papers and efficient organisation of committees and an ability to work independently when required.
To support the Group Corporate Governance Team in the provision of company secretarial support, acting as a point of contact for the Team, facilitate meetings, monitor the shared inbox, co-ordinate meetings, process invoices and supplies and manage the Trusts Public Membership.

To Coordinate agendas, collate, distribute supporting papers for meetings and produce accurate minutes or actions as required.
