The business is recognised as a reliable and trustworthy controls supplier to the Building Services industry. Privately owned and established over 40 years ago the company offers employees secure employment and longevity of service. As part of their ongoing growth, they now have opportunities for two BMS Service Engineers (West Midlands and Hertfordshire).
THE ROLE:
Travelling from home and with a patch distance within 1.5 hours travel, you will support clients with scheduled service calls, responsive breakdowns and energy reduction activities on the supplied BMS system.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will be an experienced BMS Engineer with 3 years + gained within this specific role
Successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BMS systems and use of the system tools. Experience with; Schneider, Trend, Siemens, Tridium or Honeywell would be preferred, but open to other manufactures.
An understanding of HVAC and electrical skills or competence would be advantageous.
HOURS:
Standard working times are 08.00 – 16.30 Mon - Fri.
On occasion it is expected that additional work may be required but the company prefer to maintain a good work life/balance and overtime requirements are low.
In addition, the company runs a Call-Out system (approx.1 in 7), although it’s rare for call-outs to occur (additional payments for being on call).
