Salary: £26,045.62 Pro rata

Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust is looking for a passionate and organised Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! This part-time role offers the chance to work with a diverse group of volunteers who play a vital role in conserving and protecting local wildlife. Based at the Rutland Volunteer Training Centre, with travel to various reserves and offices, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As Volunteer Coordinator, you will take the lead in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting our valued volunteers. You will ensure that every volunteer enjoys a positive and enriching experience, from delivering a range of activities such as wildlife monitoring and countryside skills training to organising social events. A key part of the role will involve developing innovative opportunities for volunteering and collaborating with staff across the Trust to expand and enhance our volunteer engagement.
In addition to working directly with volunteers, you will oversee essential administrative tasks, including ensuring compliance with health and safety and GDPR regulations. You will also celebrate and promote the contributions of our volunteers through newsletters, events, and various communications. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your passion for conservation with your ability to inspire and coordinate people.
