Team: Customer Contact Team
We are looking for customer-focused individuals to join our team. Candidates should have experience working in a busy customer contact environment, with excellent customer care skills, a commitment to performance, and delivering excellent service. You will need strong keyboard, listening, and questioning skills.
The role is based in a busy Contact Centre with agile working, with regular days at the Town Hall. Responsibilities include handling telephone, email, web forms, and face-to-face inquiries from the public across various council services. You will update and access council systems to ensure inquiries are resolved at first contact, minimizing repeat contacts. Full training and team manager support will be provided.
Normal working hours are 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:00 pm. A restricted flexi-scheme is available depending on service needs.
