I am a lady in my forties living in the Skewen Area with my parents.
I like going to the cinema and to the local library and church group for crafts classes.
I have special needs and a learning disability.
I have a bubbly personality and am looking for someone who has the same kind of personality and who enjoys being out and about. I enjoy the time I spend with my PA and hope you’ll enjoy our days out as well.
I like cooking, eating out, arts and crafts and generally being out.
I am unable to walk great distances due to asthma and joint pain but am happy to do small walks locally.
Purpose
Assisting with visiting shops i.e. food shopping
Assisting me to manage my money
Assisting with travel (locally)
Taking me to activities I enjoy
A little bit of personal care support when we’re out
Taking to the cinema, arts and crafts events etc.
Assisting with basic meal preparation and cooking.
Helping me find new things to do
Any other reasonable duties
Person Type
A person who:
Has previous experience in a caring role
Has first aid training (preferable but training can be provided)
Has a friendly and bubbly personality
Is flexible
Is reliable
Car driver/owner
Female preferred due to personal care
Hours
CAR DRIVER ESSENTIAL.
14 hours in total to be worked as:
Hours to be worked over 2 or 3 weekdays.
Hours will be flexible and can be agreed in advance by mutual consent depending on what activities are going on.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
