Due to continued growth, our client, an ambitious and fast-growing Risk Management firm, is now looking for a talented and ambitious HR Generalist to join their consultancy team, based in Stocksbridge. Working in a collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to develop long-lasting client relationships with a variety of clients from diverse sectors. As an HR Advisor, you'll work closely with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their organizational objectives and culture. You will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of our clients' organizations, assessing risk and providing expert support and guidance in a wide range of employee relations matters.
You will be responsible for:
1. Developing and enhancing excellent client relationships to ensure timely and high-quality HR advice is maintained.
2. Maintaining and developing an in-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
3. Creating and/or developing employee handbooks and policies that are legally compliant and tailored to the client's needs.
4. Producing high-quality, legally compliant documentation promptly.
5. Advising clients on a wide range of HR-related scenarios including support for investigations, disciplinary or grievance procedures, and organizational change.
6. Attending formal meetings and hearings where required to act as minute taker.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
1. At least 2 years of experience working in an HR consultancy role with proven experience in managing relationships and advising on HR-associated matters (grievance, disciplinary, performance management, etc.).
2. A good understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
3. The ability to work with a diverse range of clients, building relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.
4. The capability to provide commercial advice that translates HR theory or employment legislation into workable recommendations for clients by assessing risk and understanding the client's business objectives.
5. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing and managing expectations.
6. Ideally, CIPD qualified or at least willing to work towards the qualification.
Salary on offer is circa £30,000, with free onsite parking, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. They also offer free gym membership and private medical cover after successful completion of your probation period.
Standard office hours are Monday to Friday - 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. There is no set hybrid working here; however, they do offer flexibility around this should you need to work from home sometimes.
