We’re excited to be looking for a new Finance Officer to join our team for six months. This is a part-time role where you'll work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
We are currently working on projects related to streamlining the workflows due to the recent systems integration and this role will be an integral part of ensuring that the best practices are adopted for each task whilst maintaining service levels to our customers.
No two days will be the same in this role so enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, methodical thinking, and a genuine passion for always wanting to go the extra mile will be essential as you’ll take ownership of your role by making sure all rent receipts and all non-rent receipts, miscellaneous income, and debtors ledgers are registered on tenants accounts accurately and efficiently.
You'll be an ambassador for Abri to internal and external customers alike so professionalism, politeness, and a genuine desire to go above and beyond will all be musts.
We’re a small, friendly team of 7 spread between Eastleigh and Yeovil. The workload is varied and each of us are assigned specific tasks on set days. We are really flexible and often swap tasks if needed to help out other members of the team so being a team player and having a ‘can do’ attitude to work is a must.
We’re looking for someone who’s pro-active, has an eye for detail, the ability to process high volume data, and good written and verbal communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll have an understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how to apply the principles.
If you want the opportunity to join a team as committed as you are and want to make sure our customers continue to receive a service second to none, we want to hear from you!
We offer flexible working, so you can work from home and collaborate with colleagues in person at least three times a week at one of our offices in Eastleigh (SO50 6AD), Horndean (PO8 9NN), Bracknell (RG12 1RF), or Yeovil (BA22 8WN).
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all rent receipts and non-rent receipts are accurately registered on tenant accounts.
* Maintain service levels to customers while adopting best practices.
* Collaborate with team members and assist in various tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in finance or a related field.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of GDPR principles.
