The Role
As a Legal Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting the Commercial Property department while also assisting other legal teams as needed. Your efficiency, professionalism, and keen attention to detail will help ensure the smooth running of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing comprehensive administrative support to solicitors, including word processing, filing, and correspondence
2. Managing diaries, appointments, and key deadlines
3. Handling client communications via phone and email, delivering exceptional service
4. Organising and maintaining legal documents and case files
5. Arranging travel and accommodations for out-of-town meetings or hearings
6. Accurately recording billable hours and processing expenses
7. Assisting with document preparation, court forms, and legal bundles
8. Offering team support during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
What They are Looking For
* Previous Legal Secretary or legal administration experience
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
