Practice owner Cheryl Lucas is looking for an experienced and confident Lead Vet Surgeon to join her team in Ilford! This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious vet to join a purpose built, brand new and growing practice. Also for the right individual, there are partnership opportunities. Ilford Vets4Pets is based at the busy Newbury Park retail site and has easy access to the M25 and transport links into central London. The practice sees a wide variety of small animal cases and has state of the art equipment including ultrasound, digital X-ray and full in house laboratory. You will be joining an expanding and energized team of 4 vets, 1 RVN, 3 student veterinary nurses, 2 veterinary care assistants and 1 receptionist.
This is a key role within the team therefore you will have strong medical and surgical skills and the desire and capability to help mentor colleagues. Cheryl is a supportive practice owner who has a keen interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine but a particular leaning towards surgery and has recently completed her surgical certificate. There is a generous CPD allowance and huge development opportunities available so if you have an area of particular interest, this may be the practice for you! This is a full time role working 40 hours per week and 1 in 3 weekends.
