About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Fulfilment Team Leader to work on our fulfilment side and report directly to the Supervisor of fulfilment. This is a hands-on role that assists in the daily running of the operation to achieve timely processing and despatch of orders.
Responsibilities:
* Complete their own picking and packing tasks and serve as a point of call for employee queries and issue resolution.
* Review, prioritise, and release orders in a timely manner.
* Communicate with the Fulfilment Supervisor and Client Services team daily to agree lead times and address any issues.
* Support the end-to-end process of stock takes (i.e., organising labour, counts, investigations).
* Action ad-hoc requests, such as quality checks.
* Report any stock losses, damages, or concerns to the Fulfilment Supervisor and escalate complicated issues to the Warehouse Manager as necessary.
* Deputise for the Fulfilment Supervisor when required and complete additional responsibilities such as locking/unlocking the premises.
* Provide leadership support to teams and motivate staff to achieve production goals.
* Provide training and coaching of staff when instructed by the Fulfilment Supervisor.
* Ensure all health and safety measures are adhered to by all team members.
* Maintain high levels of professionalism in all communications with colleagues, clients, and site visitors.
* Assist the Fulfilment Supervisor in resolving problems and suggesting areas for potential improvement.
* Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse to maintain tidiness, safety, and productivity.
* Keep stock safely stored in accessible locations.
* Communicate all updates and progress to the line manager to facilitate collaboration and effective planning.
* Conduct any other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operation.
About You:
* Proven experience in Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Mintsoft.
* The ability to bring your team along on a journey of change.
* Strong leadership and ability to work autonomously.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Proficient in using warehouse management systems and related technology.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Forklift Truck licence - Aisle Master and Counterbalance.
