We're seeking an experienced Fish & Chips Chef to join our kitchen team at Jolly Fryer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for British cuisine and maintain our high standards of food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook fish, chips, and other menu items to order.
2. Maintain consistent batter quality and cooking temperatures.
3. Handle fish preparation, including filleting when required.
4. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
5. Manage stock rotation and assist with inventory.
6. Keep the kitchen clean and organised.
7. Work effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.
Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum 1 year experience in fish and chip preparation.
2. Knowledge of food hygiene regulations.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and consistency.
5. Excellent time management skills.
