About the Role
is a large, long-term research programme, studying health and disease in British Bangladeshi and Pakistani people. We have an established track record of scientific discovery and impact.
We are in an exciting period of growth, expanding our rich data resource and infrastructure. The post holder will help develop our core health data infrastructure. You will work closely with clinicians and data users (academic and industry partners) and will join a large and supportive interdisciplinary team.
About You
You will be a qualified GP or Consultant who can apply their clinical knowledge to health data analysis. You will have health data science and software programming skills sufficient to maintain and update existing data infrastructure software, curate large complex longitudinal health datasets, and derive clinical phenotypes and quantitative traits for use in research. You will be experienced in leading teams, training junior staff and students, and conducting epidemiological analysis.
