Assistant Buyer

About the Role
The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for managing department samples, overseeing critical path processes, and contributing to product development strategies, with a focus on footwear and accessories. The role requires close collaboration with the Buyer and other team members to ensure efficient product sourcing and range planning across these categories.
This role is with LF Fashion, however the successful candidate will be based at our customer's office in Lutterworth, working closely with their team.
We are looking for an Assistant Buyer who is:
6. Adept at managing department samples and administration
7. Capable of driving product selection and contributing to fits, overall look, and packaging solutions
8. Skilled in assisting with price negotiations and maintaining awareness of market strategies and competitor profiles
9. Proficient in preparing for key meetings and managing best/worst seller reports for weekly trade and seasonal planning
10. Able to collaborate on marketing initiatives, including product selection and brief updates
11. A team member with strong interpersonal, organisational and administration skills
12. Demonstrates a passion for product
