This role
Our Radiology department currently has an opportunity for a Senior CT Radiographer at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.
As a Senior CT Radiographer, you will:
* Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – within the department, on the ward and in theatre.
* Have the opportunity to rotate through CT & MRI for the right candidate.
* Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment, and facilities.
* Be involved in departmental audits and help develop policies and procedures.
* Enhance your professional career development.
* Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
The Person
To succeed as a Senior CT Radiographer, you will have:
* Qualification in Virtual Colonography is essential to this role.
* High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
* CT Cardiac knowledge and experience is desirable.
* A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
* A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Excellent communication and team working abilities.
* You must be a team player and be able to plan and strive towards working to Nuffield CARE values. You should be committed and willing to take on new challenges and help develop the Radiographic service.
