This role is based on a high-profile estate and requires the successful candidate to be part of a dedicated on-site team. They will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and experiences to clients, occupiers, colleagues, service partners, and other key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Commercial Prepare, control, and monitor the service charge budget in accordance with agreed timelines and client expectations, working alongside the Senior Facilities Manager. Compile management reports as required by the business. Compliance Take responsibility for all health and safety compliance, ensuring regular audits, fire and evacuation drills, and ongoing updates to emergency plans and health and safety records. Proactively manage risk and ensure compliance with insurance requirements for public and statutory bodies. Maintain an up-to-date Crisis Management Plan, ensuring it is reviewed and tested annually. Assist with procurement processes in conjunction with the Senior Facilities Manager, ensuring all contracts align with company policies. Maintain all necessary site records, including asset registers, emergency plans, and plant testing documentation. Liaise with local authorities as required. Carry out any other duties as required by the business. Customer Service & Quality Ensure the building’s internal and external fabric is maintained to high standards, in line with budgetary and management contract requirements. Oversee and monitor planned maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with schedules and service provider performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, ensuring they receive the highest standards of service and attending tenant meetings. Regularly review contractor performance to ensure service quality aligns with contractual agreements. People Management Provide direct line management for on-site personnel, ensuring staff receive the necessary training for their roles. Conduct regular performance reviews, including annual appraisals and the setting of SMART objectives. Ensure all appraisals are completed in line with company standards and timelines. Person Specification Educated to degree level or equivalent. Previous experience in facilities management of properties or property portfolios, including line management responsibilities and contractor/service agreement oversight. Strong knowledge of technical aspects of premises management. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Good understanding of health and safety legislation and environmental protection requirements. IT literate, with experience using industry-specific applications. Ability to work independently and under pressure. IOSH qualification required. IWFM qualification desirable.
