Fourblue are working with a leading renewable energy company who are growing rapidly. They are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join their Operations and Maintenance team and manage a 1.2GW portfolio of grid scale solar.
In this role, you will be the main contact for clients, ensuring contract deliverables are met, such as planned maintenance, reporting, and service level agreements (SLAs). You will also oversee project profit and loss (P&L) to maintain profitability in line with budgetary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for your clients.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
* Ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions to meet client and contractual needs.
* Clearly communicate progress on initiatives to stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for new business and improvements.
* Prepare account status reports and manage account administration.
* Resolve high-priority issues and attend meetings with customers.
* Oversee project P&L to ensure profitability aligns with business targets.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Commercial awareness with a focus on profitability.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
Personal Qualities:
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Committed to maintaining the companies reputation and values.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Background in Electrical Engineering or renewable energy is an advantage.
* Experience in the service sector and with client-focused solutions.
* Familiarity with commercial and contractual practices.
* Experience in managing teams is beneficial.
* Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
