South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust is recruiting for an experienced Specialty Doctor to join the Wakefield CAMHS ReACH team based at Unit 2, Flemming Court, Castleford, WF10 5HW. This fixed term post for 2 years (potential to extend) will have a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will work within the Psychiatry pathway. The successful applicant will receive close supervision from sector consultant psychiatrists and an allocated clinical supervisor. We are keen to support eligible section 12 approved doctors to pursue CESR or Approved Clinician status if interested.

Main duties of the job

Person Specification
Qualifications
* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
* Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
Physical Attributes
* Smart professional appearance.
Transport
* Holds and will use a valid UK driving licence OR provides evidence of proposed alternative.
Experience
* Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise or be in a position to have a licence to practice on commencement in the post.
* Spent a minimum of four years (full time or equivalent) in postgraduate training in the UK or equivalent medical experience, of which at least 2 years in psychiatry.
* At least 6 months experience in CAMHS psychiatry.
* In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
* Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 6 months of appointment.
* Experience of working in NHS and CAMHS.
