Inspecting equipment, materials, and products using metrology tools such as verniers, calipers, and micrometers. Operating and programming Rottler and milling machines. Reboring engine blocks and internal bushes of connecting rods (conrods). Rebore and sleeve Voith transmission casings. Requalifying diesel engine connecting rods. Regrinding and polishing 6-cylinder diesel engine crankshaft journals and flywheel flanges. Dressing and balancing grinding wheels. Performing basic TPM (Total Product Maintenance) tasks. Candidate Requirements: Practical mechanical aptitude with experience in CNC machining Ideally - in reboring, sleeving, and requalifying engine components such as crankshafts and connecting rods.
