Our Client is an Automotive Accident Repair Bodyshop and they are currently seeking a Bodyshop Technician to join their team of busy bodyshop professionals. Our client requires an efficient and professional Bodyshop Technician. Typical duties as a Bodyshop Technician for our client include: Carries out a range of repairs on vehicles, including MET, Panel work, and paintwork. Assesses vehicle damage and determines the appropriate repair methods for each job. Prepares vehicles for painting, ensuring surfaces are smooth and free from imperfections. Performs structural repairs and straightening of chassis and body parts. Uses diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Replaces or repairs damaged components such as bumpers, doors, and panels. Ensures all repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Works closely with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion. Maintains a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols. Communicates with customers to provide updates on repair progress and any additional issues found. Requirements for this Bodyshop Technician role You should be qualified / time served in all bodyshop repair disciplines; emphasis on MET, Strip/Fit, minor panel and filler work to support our team of skilled technicians. Experience of Methods and insurance bodyshop techniques preferable. Due to the nature of the role you will also require a full UK/EU driving licence. For your hard work as a Bodyshop Technician our client is offering a salary of £50,000 OTE.
